Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 July 2026

These terms are a legal agreement between you and Digital Outback Ltd (company number 13170273), registered in England and Wales, trading as Pyvolt ("Pyvolt", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Pyvolt, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Pyvolt is a tool that provisions servers and deploys applications to infrastructure that runs on your own cloud account. You connect your own VPS or cloud provider, and Pyvolt configures it and deploys your code over SSH. You are responsible for your cloud account, including all charges your provider bills you. Pyvolt does not host your applications.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Acceptable use

You must not use Pyvolt to break the law, infringe intellectual property, send spam, host malicious software, attack or overload the Pyvolt platform or others, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or resell the service without our written permission. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

5. Your content and intellectual property

You keep all rights in your code, content, and data ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to access and process Your Content only as needed to provide the service (for example to clone your repository and deploy it to your server). We own Pyvolt itself, including the platform, software, and branding; nothing here transfers those rights to you.

6. Third-party services

Pyvolt integrates with third parties such as your cloud provider, GitHub, and the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

7. Fees

During the current early-access period, Pyvolt is provided free of charge. We may introduce paid plans in future; if we do, we will give you notice and you can choose whether to continue on a paid plan. You remain responsible at all times for the separate costs your own cloud provider charges you.

8. Availability and beta status

Pyvolt is offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis and is under active development. We do not promise any particular uptime and may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We recommend you keep your own backups of anything important.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and conditions. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that deployments will always succeed.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data, or business, and our total liability to you in any 12 month period is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in that period or GBP 100. You are responsible for costs charged by your own cloud provider, and we are not liable for those.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses, and costs arising from your use of the service, Your Content, or your breach of these terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using Pyvolt and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or if we stop offering the service. Deleting your Pyvolt account does not delete the servers or files on your own cloud account; those remain yours to manage.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date above and, for material changes, notify you. Continuing to use Pyvolt after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
