Is Pyvolt cheaper than Railway?
For a steady app, usually yes, because Pyvolt is a flat fee plus a cheap VPS rather than a meter that climbs with usage. For very spiky, low-traffic workloads Railway's scale-to-zero can be competitive; use the calculator with your real numbers.
Do I have to manage the server?
No. Pyvolt provisions and runs the box, Nginx, Postgres, Redis, SSL, deploys, the same hands-off feel as Railway. The box is just yours.
Can I move my Railway app over?
Yes. If it reads config from environment variables (as it does on Railway), point Pyvolt at the same repo, set the same variables, and deploy.
Does Pyvolt do usage-based pricing?
No, deliberately. You pay a flat plan fee and your VPS bill; nothing meters your traffic or compute. Pyvolt is Python-native (Django, FastAPI, Flask).
