# Sign up

Create a Pyvolt account to get started. No credit card - Pyvolt is free while we're in the invite-only beta.

## Create your account

Go to [pyvolt.com/accounts/signup/](https://pyvolt.com/accounts/signup/) and pick one:

- **Continue with GitHub** - one click, and you'll connect GitHub for repositories later anyway.
- **Continue with Google**
- **Email + password** - the classic. Minimum 8 characters, not entirely numeric, not a common password.

During the beta you'll also need an **invite code**. If you followed an invite link, it's already filled in; otherwise ask whoever pointed you here.

You'll land on the server-create page, ready to connect your first machine.

## Sign in

Already have an account? Sign in at [pyvolt.com/accounts/login/](https://pyvolt.com/accounts/login/) with the same method you signed up with. If you try a social login whose email already has an account, we'll tell you which sign-in method that account actually uses.

## Forgot your password?

Click **Forgot password?** on the sign-in page. Enter your email and we'll send a reset link. (Social-login accounts don't have a Pyvolt password - sign in with the provider.)
